5 simple tips for making your website a great experience

October 5, 2022

Your website should be helping you put money into that till.....Side note; I'm a consumer and I like to look on a website before I choose, if I can check menu and price and ethos for a resturant before I go then I'll choose them. If I can book my legwax on a website, I'll choose that one for ease.

So here are 5 simple tips for making your website a great experience for your customers:

1. Act as your brand, it should showcase your ethos, your essence.

When we say brand we don't just mean colour scheme. What price point are you? Do clients come to you for fashion colours? Or natural lived in hair? Do you specialise in ......It has to match the salon. If we took screen shots from the website, we should be able to hang them up on the wall of the salon.

2. Let it work as your secretary.

Your website can be another working member of staff. List faq that's you get asked frequently on dms. Link to a Google my business map. For directions. Have the client journey there so they know what to expect. The patch testing policy- booking procedure, deposit, cancellation policy.

3. Booking system or some sort of calender.

To allow the website to work for you. Train your clients to book boa your website using the booking system and it cuts down your admin time.

4. Recruit new team members- having a constant recruitment page there.

Stylists will be looking when the time is right for them. They google. So always be ready to welcome someone new. List what's in it for them. Reassure them that you are approachable and in confidence

5. Keep it current with seasonal information.

Now looking towards Christmas opening times for example. We send out reminders now to our clients to change up the website ready for the festive season.
